In 2023, I served as a Section Leader for Stanford Code in Place, a program designed to teach programming fundamentals through Stanford's CS106A course.
As a section leader, I supported students by facilitating weekly discussion sections, answering questions, and providing guidance on coding assignments. I helped create a collaborative learning environment by encouraging problem-solving, fostering discussions on programming concepts, and offering personalized assistance to ensure students gained a strong foundation in Python programming. I also collaborated with the teaching team to ensure that course content was accessible and engaging for students at various skill levels.
This role allowed me to contribute to developing emerging programmers and further my passion for teaching and community-driven learning.
